What I do: I work as a website development project manager for a large corporation, and in my spare time I design web pages for small businesses
and friends.
How I got here: I went to college and received a degree in Food Science with a minor in Chemistry. I then worked for a number of years in an Orthodontic office, first as an
Orthodontic Assistant, later as the Office Manager. I decided to make a career change, so I went back to school and completed a Masters degree in Computer Programming, with a concentration in Analysis and
Design and Application Programming.
After graduation, I was hired by a Fortune 100 company, where I worked in a variety of programming and project management positions. I recently changed employers and I am now working for a Fortune 10 company, where I manage website development projects for our clients.
Favorite Games: I enjoy RPG’s, adventure and puzzle games. Guild Wars, Diablo series, Monkey Island series, The Longest Journey, Gruntz, Kyrandia series, Darkstone, Day of the Tentacle,
Grim Fandango, Bejewelled, and Jewels of the Oracle are my favorites.
Favorite Films: I like science fiction and comedy films. Some of my favorites are:
The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Santa Clause, Galaxy Quest, Stripes, Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, Ghostbusters, Trading Places, Some Like It Hot, Christmas Vacation, The Fifth Element, Pirates of the Carribean, and the Back to the Future series.
Favorite TV Shows: Babylon 5, Star Trek (all of them), Crusade, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Gallactica, MacGyver, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, Blackadder, Thunderbirds, and (I hesitate
to admit it) American Idol.
Favorite Foods: Chocolate (my kryptonite), Ice Cream, Burgers, and Fried Rice.
Favorite Beverages: Diet Cola, Chocolate Milk, Hot Chocolate.
Favorite Music: Eagles, Elton John, 38 Special, Bon Jovi, James Taylor, Boston, Chicago, Foreigner, Styx, The Police, Journey, Jimmy Buffett, Enya, Loreena McKennit, Secret Garden, and the *real*
oldies...Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Handel, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff.
