Nutcracker Sweets
1/3 cups butter Crisco 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 15xI0x1 pan.
Cream Crisco and peanut butter, blend in brown sugar, add eggs. Add in flour, baking powder and salt, alternately with milk and vanilla. Spread into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes. Cool.
Frosting
1/3 cup butter Crisco 2/3 cup peanut butter 1 lb. powdered sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocoate chips
Mix Crisco and peanut butter, add suagr and milk. Spread on cooled cookie base.
Melt chocolate chips over low hear, drizzle over frosting. Cut into bars.
