Caramel Candy Cookies
1 cup flour 1 cup quick oats 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup butter 3/4 cup sugar
1 - 14oz package caramels 1/3 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt, set aside. Mix butter and sugar together, add in oat mixture until crumbly. Reserve 1
cup of mixture, press remainder into 9x13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. In a saucepan, cook caramels and evaporated milk over low hear until the caramels melt. Spread over the baked crust. Sprinkle nuts over the
caramel mixture, the reserved crumbs and the chocolate chips. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool, and cut into bars.
