The Girls are Cruisin'

From June 23-30, 2002, myself, my sister Cindy and my nieces, Theresa and Jenni, went on the Carnival Mexican Riviera 7-day cruise, on the ship Elation.

We left Los Angeles on Sunday, had two fun days at sea, then spent Wednesday in Puerto Vallarta, Thursday in Mazatlan, and Friday in Cabo San Lucas. Then one more day at sea, and we returned to Los Angeles on Sunday.

Onboard ship, there was a variety of things to do and see :
Music	classical calypso piano bar rock dance golden oldies jazz
Classes	ballroom dancing bigband dancing line dancing country dancing disco dancing casino gaming yoga golf aerobics massage
Shows	magic and illusion dancing country music comedy mexican folklorico juggling Beatles tribute talent show
Contests	golf putting ship building horse racing karaoke slots tournament ping pong survivor at sea blackjack tournament trivia hairy chest contest knobby knees contest
Plus there was the casino, the video arcade, the internet cafe, the sushi bar, the dessert cafe, and numerous bars, buffets and dining rooms, and of course, the 24-hour pizzeria.

At each port of call we were offered a variety of shore trips to choose, or we could visit the port on our own.
