This year, for my vacation, I did something I have always dreamed of doing. I spent a week at a Pastry School!
I attended the Basic Pastry Techniques class at the Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, CO. If you have ever had the desire to attend a professional cooking school, I highly recommend the Culinary School of the Rockies. They have professional courses, courses for “home cooks”, and even corporate kitchen classes.
Our instructor was Chef Ann Ragsdale-Perricone, and she was simply wonderful! I hope someday that I will be able to return to the school and attend more classes.
